Become a Trader With Us
Kirkby Lonsdale Charter Market is run by the Kirkby Lonsdale and Lune Valley Community Interest Company (KL&LVCIC), in partnership with the Kirkby Lonsdale Market Traders Association (KLMTA). The Charter Market is a traditional outdoor street market located in the Market Square and holds a Royal Charter dating back to 1227.
With a wide range of stalls selling an extensive selection of quality products, Kirkby Lonsdale Charter Market offers traders both new and experienced an excellent opportunity either to launch a business or develop an existing one. If you have never traded before, you’ll be able to tap into the expertise of the established traders working around you as well as benefit from a supportive Market Manager who are all keen to see new traders become successful, and existing ones to remain so.
To become a casual trader on the Charter Market, you should in the first instance send an email to: bookings@kirkbylonsdale.market giving exact details of the products/goods (including pictures) you wish to sell and your frequency of attendance, ie. weekly, fortnightly, or monthly. If your proposed stall is right for the Charter Market, we will contact you with details of how to then apply to become a Charter Market trader.
